Wow, such an eventful day it was...
It started at 06:30 when me and Anthony went to do some street photography at Dawn (Anthony's favorite hour to take photos and i begin to understand why). we had some breakfast and than all the madness began. All the teams did a colorful parade in the street, around the zocalo and into the venue for the opening ceremony.
the ceremony was just amazing, Mexico the host nation did every possible thing to celebrate this event, from authentic music, dance and even fire works! for me it was just perfect, i felt proud to be a part of this organization and to contribute by taking photos and sharing them. it was very emotional to see the smile on the faces of the players who made it here and only that by itself is worth everything. now, the thing is that this isn't everything at all, this is only the beginning, day 1.
I had so many things in my mind that i wanted to blog about but I'm still so overwhelmed from this long day that i feel that i can't really transfer all my emotions and thoughts by words, so i guess it's time to upload photos to show you all what i saw today.
if you like this blog please don't be shy, you can share with me your thoughts by commenting, and if you like it please press like and share it with others, this is the reason why i do it, to get this amazing and wonderful event to as many people as possible, show me that it's worth for me after such a long day to sit behind the computer edit photos and blog instead of sitting in a local bar and drink some coronas...
I don't want to upload too many photos in the blog so to see more photos from the homeless world cup just go to my HWC gallery in my website, or to make life easier press this link http://photozzy.com/p29733484
